This was dinner the first night. It's in a place called Ten Sushi not too far from my hotel. It's a sushi train restaurant which (weirdly for the quality I normally associate with Sushi train) had some of the best sushi I've ever had. Most of it was reasonable quality, some was pretty bad (the Calamari had some fried tentacles with it that were cold and greasy), but the stand out for me was the red king salmon. So tender and melt in your mouth. Forget any piece of tuna belly you've had, like chewing rubber in comparison. Putting this thing in your mouth was like eating salmon flavoured air...
Also surf clam is on the cheap fish end of the scale at less $4 for two. And Kirin is $3 a pint during happy hour (which is from 8pm 'til they shut). And it's dinner time as I write this. And almost 8pm...
