Stuff I've Eaten - Tokyo Finale

Fin.
(pun not intended)

Stuff I saw - Tokyo Finale

With half a day to kill before I needed to head to the airport I did a bit of souvenir shopping,
starting at the Tokyo Pokemon Center in Ginza

Tea Ceremony Pikachus

About a third of the plush toys available

Touch the pikachu

Pokemon in the great wave, I believe it contains sesame nori snacks

this subtly pokemon themed Kimono

There is a Marvel store

This is a store for a Japanese children's show

more kids stuff

there was a lego store

this amused me

I went anime figure shopping to see if I could fins the thing Rob wanted

This "Ninja" batman is kind of cool

There are also star wars characters that have had the "Samurai" treatment,
although C3PO looks kind of stupid frankly...

after an hour or two of looking I finall found her,
Rob's tiny anime waifu...

Sadly she was ~$625 at the current exchange rate

After that I headed back to Ginza

and went to that Sushi place I like for my final Japan dinner

Latest Nissan concept car at their Ginza showroom

Stuff I've Eaten - Nagoya (Sort Of) Edition

The white version of the Strawberryverymuch frappuccino.
Less strawberry, more macaroons.

Takoyaki pringles

The cold version of the Yuzu Citrus Tea from Starbucks

Eki Ben and Pocari sweat

Kani to Ikura

Grape Pudding

Not the best, but decent.

Nagoya is famous for their spicy chicken wings.
And the golden dragon fish that deliver them, I guess?

Daiginjo Sake Ice Cream
(from takayama as indicated by the monkey)

Hida beef bun

beefy

Sake pudding

even better than the ice cream

It doesn't look great with all that mayo squished flat

Okonomiyaki from a stall at the Takayama festival

Drinking yoghurt made with hida milk

Tetris gummi candy

Woo. I'm about to make a line. Delicious!

Hida beef and milk

The first Orangina of the trip.
Haven't seen it around much.

Little shell shaped cakes I bought for breakfast while waiting for a train.

Hot Cafe Au Lait in a bottle

Beef and Eel combo Eki Ben

Fit for a King
