Kyoto 2: Electric Boogaloo

Rather than do Fukuoka to Toyama all in one day, I came back to Kyoto for brief stop.

The Ryokan I stayed in, near Nishiki market

A temple

Crossing the river

A tour group boating around

Along the philosopher's walk

I went to a bar called Shooting Bar m4

They have a variety of Airsoft weapons on racks behind the bar

Pistols on the left

And a short target range off to one side

Firing a full pistol load (~25 shots, varies by gun) costs about the same as a drink

Disturbingly I'm a better shot after 3 vodka tonics than when fresh

Rob says this is a terrible shooting stance, but how else do you elbow the
"knife kills only" guy, who is coming up behind you, in the face?

  1. I feel like there’s significant OHS risks with combining a bar and a shooting range

    1. They have rules you have to follow. All Four of them. Although rule 4 was "have fun" so I don't know if that counts.
The bartender also said that he thinks Australians are funny because whenever they come in they always drink so much.

    1. Wear safety glasses and gloves.
Keep your finger off the trigger unless you're about to shoot.
      Don't shoot people.

      Not necessarily in that order...
