Marqueen

On arriving at Seattle, I caught the light rail into the city from the airport (it cost $2.75, other cities take note) and then the Monorail from the CBD to Seattle City Center, which is a park type area with a lot of event venues and so forth. A bit like Fed Square if it were bigger and good.

Key Arena (where the International is being held) is adjacent and my hotel is down the street a couple of blocks. Speaking of my hotel, it's called the Marqueen.

The stairs:

The corridor outside my room:
If choose anywhere to descend into Carcosan madness, it will be here:
The door to my room:
 Just inside the door:

The bathroom is to the left of the entry:
In the first picture there's a door on the right:

Past the bathroom door you can just see a second doorway:

  1. What's the giant electric blue light outside? It looks like it might be a bugzapper

  2. I think the camera in my phone is compensating for how yellow everything inside is, that's just daylight.
