Stuff I've Seen - Fukuoka part 3

I think I've mentioned the Evangelion themed train before. There's a merch shop.

People lining up to get their picture taken with the Ikea mascot.

On the way to the museum, statues of some historic anime characters.

It's art!

Do NOT ride the poodle.

Somewhere or other

I wasn't sure if the sign was don't run through the fountain, or feel free to.

The museum contains a model of the museum.

A katana

A spear

I see you've played knife-y spear-y before

This ship is somewhat confused about it's allegiances

These two douchebags are activated by motion sensors, so you'll walk past something
and it'll light up and start yelling at you in Japanese about the museum exhibit you're next to.

The first pre-historic anime characters.

Cutouts of prehistoric Japanese people.

Many scholars dispute the accuracy of this one,
claiming that the height of phone technology at the time could have been no better than a Nokia 5110,
while others claim that the fossil record from the Neolithic shows clear evidence of the
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 being used to start fires.

Impressively the first ever Japanese model railway dates back to nearly 3000 years before the invention of the locomotive.

Reassembled broken pottery

A detailed model of the ancient garbage dump where they found said potterry

A diorama depicting ドクター ジョーンズ and サラ finding 魂の井戸

インディー with the ラのスタッフ

What happens when you leave your Tosei Dou Gusoku in the rain.

These jerks are back.
The general pattern is that the one on the right is confused, so the older wiser one explains things calmly.

They sure love their dioramas here.
The ancient city.

The modern one.

Left over diorama pieces.

They wouldn't be too bad,
except the confused jerk starts yelling excitedly about not understanding the second the thing turns on.

There's a section devoted to the local festivals

There's the float carrying one.

One where everyone wears these odd looking masks.

And one where everyone runs around with no pants on and is filled with shame.
I'm not sure why the don't combine this one with the mask one really.

Another float.

No section of the museum would be complete without a diorama depicting what was being displayed.

Or these two jerks putting their two cents in.
There was a special short term exhibition of some weapons and armor.

more spears

more swords

more armor

I think this guy is just compensating.

As, I suspect, is the guy with the gold katana
