So I caught the train down to Huis Ten Bosch for the evening.

They have their own express train service |

In the green car just behind the driver |

The station at the far end. |
![]() |
Huis Ten Bosch is a Dutch Themed Theme Park |
![]() |
I paid way less to sit in the Car Park on the Foreshore |
![]() |
They had a giant TV set up playing smooth jazz |
![]() |
These guys had paid extra for seats with room in front to set up a tripod. There were some food stalls behind them. |

After sitting around for an hour it started to get dark. |
![]() |
Then a Japanese Lady appeared on the TV |
![]() |
And then the show started. |
![]() |
A display of over 20,000 fireworks |
![]() |
Put on by the two teams that had won the World Fireworks Technicians' Contest. |
![]() |
The show was split into two halves The first being displays set to western music. |
It is set to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, so it may not survive the YouTube algorithms...
It's a shame about my finger in this one, but I was watching the fireworks, not whether I was recording them good.

The second half was set to anime theme songs. |
![]() |
For the Doramon theme song they even had Doramon face fireworks. |
If I'd wanted to worry about that, I'd have paid for a camera seat... And a tripod... And a video camera that isn't my phone...

After two hours of fireworks it was time for the very cold walk back to the station and the train back to Fukuoka. |
