Kenroku-en - Completing the Set

One of the places I think is must see in Japan is the Garden next to Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en.

I have finally managed to see it in each season, and so now I can post a set of Comparative photos showing the differences.

I saw it in the following order - Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring. (Due to happenstance, rather than planning)

I was a little lax in taking photos for the earlier visits, so the majority of the comparisons are winter/spring, but there are still a bunch of other seasons. For the comparisons I have tried to keep the above order.

The photos that appear here are drawn from this album in case anyone cares to see more pictures...

    1. They're all so different, it's like asking me to pick a favourite travelling companion...

Spring, but winter is a close second because it's so different. Also Ken :)

    2. That's not entirely fair.

I didn't see it in autumn in the full glory of red leaves, so that might change my opinion of that...
