The current Death Toll stands at ten.

So after the debacle with the train, we arrived at the bus terminal an hour before the bus was due to depart, as apparently we weren't guaranteed a seat. This turned out to be both a very good idea, as there were at least 70 people queued up by 15 minutes to departure for a 54 seat bus, and completely unnecessary as they allocated a second bus to follow our bus and decanted people off that one as people got off ours at various stops until it was empty and could go back.
Not the train
The country side was very pretty. And very patriotic. Almost every telegraph pole had an American flag stuck to it. Hopefully as a leftover from the 4th of July and not as a permanent fixture, but who knows.
I'm not saying every part of the country is like this.
I'm not even saying every part of this state is like this.
Just the parts I've been to.

The room.

A small patio overlooking some trees.
The town is small, picturesque, and shrouded in fog.
I'm staying in a sleepy little Stephen King novel.

Although sometimes it has more of a Silent Hill vibe to it.

Once the fog is gone and the sun comes out it is lovely.
