Stuff I've eaten - Yudanaka edition

Some more shelf stable cheese

Seaweed tea I was given when I arrived at the Ryokan

Walnut mochi and some biscuitish things

Green tea to go with above
For dinner the first night I went to a Sushi place that the Ryokan recommended.

It was shut however, so I went to the other sushi place in town.

I was too busy eating so I forgot to take this until well into the meal.

I found an even longer lasting pudding for dessert.

Purin!

Pizza flavoured chips

Fruit in a cup

Breakfast at the Ryokan

The egg had been boiled in the hotspring.
The yolk was fantastic. The white, not so much.

Ramen in a cup

Chicken flavour too.

Pickled vegetables.

Lobster sticks.
The following evening (post snow monkeys) the recommended place was open.

PREMIUM selection

Extras. Whelk, Scallop, Sea Urchin.

Breakfast morning 2

Beef and greens for

Sukiyaki

Egg pudding, burdoc and lotus root, assorted vegetables and goo, fish of some description.

  2. Yeah. The second one was better. Higher quality fish, wider selection, generally nicer furnishings etc. The first one wasn't awful, the second one was just better to some degree in more or less any aspect you care to name.
