Stuff I've Eaten - Roppongi Hills Edition

Airport Breakfast

The inflight meal hasn't changed since last time

Sushi train - Aburi Toro

Non-Aburi Toro

Shelf -stable Blue Cheese.
What could possibly go wrong?

A small bottle of Dassai that I purchased an the Don Quijote, and a Spring themed Asahi
(no change other than the can as far as I can tell)

Strong Zero - Lemon and Apple flavors

Left - Grilled Scallop and Seaweed
Right - Pizza
Lunchtime Sushi set from Pintokona
(basement of the Roppongi Hills Metro Hat / Hollywood Plaza)

Sashimi and Rice bowl at 目利きの銀次 麻布十番駅前店

I feel much more confident in Blue Cheese that requires refrigeration

One of many Matcha Lattes or Yuzu Teas.

Salad

Pickled Vegetables

Bamboo shoots

Pickled Daikon

More pickled vegetables, along with dressing to go with the Salad from earlier

Soluble Fiber in a soft drink

Tiramisu Frappuccino.
Not bad if you like your Cake and Milk Coffee in the form of a slurpee.

Lunch assembled from items bought from a スーパー
Ikura, Hotate, Seaweed Salad

Ebi, and Bamboo shoots

And a marvel of modern technology, Spray on Soy Sauce.

Mmmm, Green Cheese.
I purchased it not knowing what it was, later translating it into:
Left - Sage Derby
Right - Dutch Gouda & Basil

I finally went and got a cheap drink at the Plaza.

Dinner at Momodori, also in Metro Hat

Two types of mushroom

Chicken with wasabi, and with Red Pepper and Yuzu.
The same Shitake from before.

Add green onion, and chicken skin with salt, and with tare sauce.

Is 81 LB's better than 21 LG's?

Yet another Conbini salad

Butadon in Shinjuku

Sushizanmai in Roppongi

The Kiwi fruit one is particularly good, the White sour one, less so.
The bitter orange is as advertised.

Pudding

Sakura Sake flavor.
Not a bad rendition thereof.

Food Trucks in an indoor venue.

Herb Chicken Taco

Salmon and Ikura rice bowl.

Shrimp, Whitebait and Tempura (from another of the food trucks)

Dassai sake and a cube of fish goo topped with Uni as an appetizer
Uohama, Roppongi.

Oysters with Ponzu sauce

Tuna three ways.

Mexican Cheese

A slightly different pudding and a not great Sakura Milk Tea

"Military Latte" from Streamer Coffee in Roppongi.
Matcha Latte with white chocolate and an espresso shot.

Another supermarket assembled lunch.

Scallops

Tuna and scallops.

Bamboo shoots

Blueberry Latte,
same place as the Military Latte.
sauerkraut

string cheese

seafood sticks
left - prawn flavor
right - filled with goo flavor

low cal fizzy lemon water

ikura onigiri

full of egg-y goodness

  3. Waaaaa, I wish I was there! All looks amazing, even the creepy sushi with the prawn heads looking over their disembodied selves
