Stuff I've eaten - Day one Ginza edition.

Day one in Japan 3: Rise of the Machines

Sushi for lunch, upstairs in a shopping building.
Don't remember the name of the place. It was good, but not worth going back.
Main plate: Tuna, fish, tuna, fish, Herring Roe on kelp, prawn, uni, ikura, ark shell, crab, eel.
Side plate: Shako x2             Glass: Asahi

So, having had Sushi for lunch, the obvious thing was to have more for dinner.

This was at a place called Ginza Sushikou Ikkyu.

My chef was called Kojima. He spoke a small amount of english, so we were able to chat a little (mostly about the fish and other ingredients). It was relatively early on a Monday evening, so for maybe about half my time, I was the only patron.
Two types of shrimp. Draft beer (not sure of brand)
Bonito
Teriyaki Swordfish
Crab with egg/mustard goo
Tuna
Toro
missing picture: Red snapper

Ika (squid)
This might be Aji (Horse Mackeral). It might not.
Uni
Tuna soaked in Soy sauce for 10 minutes
Shitake
Prawn
Conger Eel
Ikura
Aburi Toro
Amberjack?
Toro
Sanma (Pacific Saury)
Gizzard Shad
Marinated Clam
Barracuda
4 or 5 beers is affecting my recall. It's a fish.
Conger Eel (from the tail, with salt and lemon zest)
Negi-Toro roll
Tamago (contains fish, tastes like cheesecake)
