Stuff I've eaten - Tokyo Emma edition, plus Nikko

Zoo meat, on a stick

Family Mart? - Pumpkin pound cake

Chocolate, and Zima

fruit in jelly

Cheese pringles

Japanese breakfast at the hotel

Tokyo Banana

It's kind of like a Twinkie if twinkies were filled with banana ester
flavoured custard, and kind of fruity looking on the outside

Beer and smoked turkey legs at Disney Sea

Disney Sea has a variety of different flavoured popcorns.

The curry was okay, but nothing to write home about.

The white chocolate was, okay. In fact most of the sweet ones were
okay, but didn't really taste any different to each other.

This was by far and away the best of the savoury popcorns.

Marinated prawns and scallops, with pickled vegetables. And a Mojito.

Tea. Mouse flavoured (judging by the label/tag).

Dessert sampler. Clockwise from the top left:
Grapes on grape jelly, walnut goo, choclate icecream, raspberry cheesecake.

Alexander

Probably the marginally better of the sweet popcorns

A reuben sandwich and apple beer cocktail from the New York Deli
Sandwich good, beer meh.

actual beers.

Didn't really taste much like what it was supposed to.
You could have said this was nutmeg or cinnamon flavoured and I would
have gone "I guess, barely."

Actually tastes like a fizzy version of what it says on the label.
As a result it's pretty disgusting.

The same breakfast the next day.

Chicken on a stick, post parade in Nikko

Nikko is famous for Yuba (Tofu skin), which is in the dish on the right

Contrary to the presentation, this isn't Disney Soba
the yellow circles are rolled up Yuba.
It's pretty good.

Yuba with Red Bean paste, battered and deep fried.
Pretty good, although the batter tastes very Australian fish and chip shop
compared to say a tempura batter.

Yuba and Red Bean paste steamed bun.

Yokai watch themed fish sticks.

Halloween special edition Orangina

High class shelf stable cheese. The one on the left really does taste like blue cheese.

We had to go away and come back an hour later to get a table at
what trip advisor claims is the best restaurant in Nikko.
I'm glad we did.

getting drunk by myself. Classy.

Pudding!

Pizza and Consome

Cheese coated rice crackers.

Omelette

Hotel buffet breakfast

round two

Emma got two eggs in their shells that she thought were hard boiled.
They were not. She then thought having the second one on rice would improve matters.
It did not.

Lunch at Tokyo station.

Iced Matcha Latte at Tullys
